Film Permission - Musical Setting

For permission to perform/publish a musical setting based on our clients’ works, fill out this form. If the required fields are not completed with accurate information, we will not respond to your request. You will receive a confirmation message and email with details how to follow up if necessary. Please Note:

  • If the title of the Adaptation is the same as the title of the work, credit will be required in the form of “Based upon the book by (Author).” Otherwise, the credit shall read “Based upon the book, (title), by (Author).” This must be displayed on any program, poster or advertising material in connection with the Adaptation, and it must appear in the same size and treatment as the credit accorded the writer.
  • Permission is granted on a non-exclusive basis only.
  • Fees are determined by the type of request and the amount of the material requested.
  • Requests can take up to 8 weeks to process.
